An LLC Operating Agreement is the legal document that governs your business. Articles of Organization do NOT govern your LLC but are simply the information you file with your state to get registered. An Operating Agreement shows who owns and manages the LLC, how profits are dealt with, and how any problems the LLC may have now or in the future will be resolved. While it's not required to have when you register your LLC, it's really important to have it since it's the only document that governs the operation of your business. Note: this template is for single-member LLCs.
