We offer primary clutch replacement kits for the classic Yamaha Snoscoot 80. The original Snoscoot sliding primary clutch sheave, Yamaha part number 85G-17601-00-00, has been discontinued, so we developed a kit that is a bolt in replacement. This kit includes a new custom machined sliding clutch assembly with six weights (install just three to get a snappier launch), a new sliding sheave bushing, and a new backspacing bushing (not shown). This kit fits all 1988-1990 Yamaha Snoscoot 80 models.

ATTENTION ELECTRIC START SNOSCOOT OWNERS:

Due to this kit using larger diameter clutch rollers than in the stock clutch assembly (makes the clutch wider), this kit requires removal of the crankshaft mounted one-way clutch assembly and starter motor on all electric start model Snoscoots to ensure proper installation.
